The previous day, the health department announced the death of six people due to corona. At this time, 884 people were diagnosed with corona.

In the last 24 hours, the rate of corona detection is 8.36 against the sample test of 7 thousand 419 people. The previous day's detection rate was 9.81.

So far 20 lakh 899 people have been diagnosed with corona in the country. 19 lakh 33 thousand 259 people have recovered from Corona. So far 29 thousand 258 people have died of Corona.

The two who have died of Corona in the last 24 hours are residents of Barisal and Sylhet.

The first corona infection was detected in Bangladesh on March 8, 2020. Since then, the number of corona infections in the country has fluctuated several times. From the end of last year to the middle of last February, the micron type of corona lasted. After that the infection started to decrease. In the middle of last month, the corona infection increased again in the country, and the death also increased.

This time, various studies have shown that two types of microns, BA4 and 5, are responsible for the increase in corona infection. Among these, BA5 is the most active. Due to this, corona infection has increased in different countries of the world. Last week, 5.7 million new people were diagnosed with corona in the world, which is 6 percent more than the previous week. However, compared to last year, the death due to corona is less now.
