Deputy Education Minister Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury MP told the students that the digital world is a big world as the chief guest at the workshop on 'Safe Internet and Social Media Use for Teachers, Students, Parents' organized by Joy Bangla Youth Award winning organization Akshar Garhi and Grassroots IT. The virtual world is bigger than the real world. As there are opportunities here, so are many risks. Many people are using the virtual world in the field of business and commerce to mark their success.

100 school-madrasa teachers and students participated in the workshop organized at Chittagong Press Club Bangabandhu Hall at 9 am on Saturday under the digital character car project in Chittagong. Emphasizing on the development of skills on the Internet, the Deputy Minister said, we should be interested in acquiring language skills by using the Internet. Multilingual skills can lead to greater success in the workplace as well as help in creating new careers. He also said that many of us know how to recite Arabic but do not know how to express feelings in Arabic with meaning. It is necessary to know how to express in different languages. In many countries where there is a manpower shortage, it is important to be proficient in multiple languages ​​in order to add our skilled manpower. Regarding the rumours, the Deputy Minister said that during the SSC, HSC examination, many people want money for development. The question will be given by saying this. We have to be aware of this. We must avoid these rumours. In the hope of getting views on social media, many use religion to give fabricated explanations, many of whom do not even have educational qualifications in the subject. He said about students learning programming language, learning programming language is like studying literature, learning logic.

PHP Group Chairman Sufi Mohammad Mizanur Rahman was the special guest at the workshop under the chairmanship of organization president Tarek Aziz Masood. The workshop was moderated by Nipa Das, Youth Coordinator of United Nations Development Programme. The workshop started at 9 am with the National Anthem. After the speech of the chief guest and special guest, the panel discussion on safe internet usage started. The panelist in the panel discussion was the former chairman of the computer science department of Chittagong University. Shahadat Hossain.
