US companies are considering maximum pay increases next year

US companies are planning record pay increases next year. US companies have adopted the highest allocation plan for payroll in the last 15 years. The companies will increase the allocation of 4.6 percent for salaries and allowances next year. This information was revealed in a survey by Wills Towers Watson, a private consulting firm. CNN made a report based on the survey data.

According to CNN's report, Wills Towers Watson surveyed 1,550 companies in the United States and obtained this information. The survey was conducted from October 3 to November 4. The companies blamed the high inflation behind this salary increase. Inflation in the United States is now 7.7 percent. So its lower salary increase means less purchasing power of the company's workers.

The report also states that 70 percent of the companies surveyed said they spent more money this year than they had planned. Overall, companies spent 4.2 percent more on payroll this year. Companies said they are looking at a variety of alternative ways to finance record pay increases next year. 21 percent of employers surveyed said they will re-evaluate their awards next year to see if they have a significant impact on employees. 17 percent of employers said they are raising product prices to finance record pay increases. And 12 percent of the companies said they are planning to restructure their workforce and reduce staff.

While U.S. companies will raise record wages next year, not all workers will see pay increases equally. According to the CNN report, the salary increase will depend on many factors. In many cases it will depend on the performance or competence of the employee. Besides, the market reality will also be taken into consideration of how much other companies are paying what type of workers.

Carolina Valencia, vice president of the human resources department of the US company Gartner, said that some workers' salaries will increase abnormally next year. Salaries will increase especially in those positions where it is very difficult to find or recruit workers.
