Jonaid Saki, chief coordinator of mass solidarity movement, and Abul Hasan Rubel, executive coordinator, said these things in a joint statement.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, Gana Odhikar Parishad held a discussion meeting and rally at the party office in Paltan in the capital on Saturday. There, the member secretary of People's Rights Council, Nurul Haque, said that the government's law and order forces are searching people's mobile phones to see whether BNP or Awami League is doing it. It is gross violation of personal freedom and human rights. He urged the law and order forces not to violate human rights as directed by the government.
Referring to BNP's peaceful rally in 9 divisional cities, Nurul Haque said that by announcing the rally in Dhaka, the government has created a war-like situation across the country by giving the law and order forces fear of its downfall. The government announced an undeclared hartal and stopped the transport causing people to suffer.
My Bangladesh Party (AB Party) said that BNP's 10-point demand from the Dhaka Divisional Assembly is acceptable and the preliminary draft of the National Consensus Document is acceptable. The leaders said this at a solidarity rally organized on the occasion of International Human Rights Day at Vijay-71 Chattar in Purana Paltan of the capital this afternoon.
At the solidarity rally, AB Party member secretary Mojibur Rahman Manju said that even in the 51st year of independence, we have to fight for minimum freedom and political rights. He thinks that the 10 points of BNP are the charter of the rights of the democratic protestors of the country.
