The first day of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examination was held today, Thursday. On this day, examination of Bengali Prothompatra (compulsory) subject was held under nine General Education Boards. 16 thousand 627 candidates were absent.
On the other hand, 10 thousand 958 and 6 thousand 275 candidates were absent from the Madrasa Madrasa Education Board and Technical Education Board.
In all, 33 thousand 860 candidates of 11 education boards did not participate in the examination.
Moreover, 26 candidates have been expelled for using dishonest means (faking). However, no teacher was expelled on the first day.
This information was informed in a circular signed by Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, on Thursday.According to the notification, out of 3 lakh 74 thousand 154 examinees in 427 centers under Dhaka Education Board, 3 thousand 721 were absent. Absence rate is 0.99 percent. An examinee has been expelled under this board. 1 thousand 719 absent in Rajshahi board, 1 thousand 683 absent in Chittagong board, two expelled, 1 thousand 119 absent in Sylhet, 992 absent in Barisal, 1 thousand 696 absent in Dinajpur and 1 thousand 2 two absent in Mymensingh, two expelled.
According to the notification, out of 3 lakh 74 thousand 154 examinees in 427 centers under Dhaka Education Board, 3 thousand 721 were absent. Absence rate is 0.99 percent. An examinee has been expelled under this board. 1 thousand 719 absent in Rajshahi board, 1 thousand 683 absent in Chittagong board, two expelled, 1 thousand 119 absent in Sylhet, 992 absent in Barisal, 1 thousand 696 absent in Dinajpur and 1 thousand 2 two absent in Mymensingh, two expelled.
Moreover, the examination is held in 715 centers under the Madrasa Education Board. On the first day, 10 thousand 958 people were absent across the country. Eight candidates have been expelled. 6 thousand 275 people are absent under Technical Education Board. 12 candidates have been expelled.
