Bangladesh lost such a loss because they did not have 200 runs in their head

Shakib Al Hasan stumbled in the second match of T20 World Cup. Despite a hard-earned win against a weaker Netherlands than in the first match, Shakib Al Hasan lost to South Africa by 104 runs. Batting first, South Africa scored 205 runs for 5 wickets. In reply, Bangladesh's innings ended at 101 runs in 16.3 overs. Shakib's team could not beat Riley Russo's 109 runs.

Bangladesh team went down to bat with a target of 206 runs and lost wickets continuously. No one could fight except Liton Das. 34 runs from 31 balls came from Lytton's bat. Hit a four and a six each. Two openers Nazmul Hossain Shanto (9) and Soumya Sarkar (15) quickly returned to the dressing room. Soumya, however, had a good start. Hit two huge sixes too. However, he could not play a big innings. None of Bangladesh's middle-order batsmen could fight back in the South African camp. Shakib (1) and Afif Hossain (1) quickly returned to the dressing room. Apart from Liton and Soumya, two more Bangladeshi batsmen scored double digit runs. Mehdi Hasan Miraz scored 11 runs and Taskin Ahmed scored 10 runs.

Shakib was never at ease in front of the South African bowling attack. Several Bangladeshi batters were out by playing bad shots. Anrikh Nakhia picked up 4 wickets for just 10 runs. Tabrez Shamsi sent Bangladesh's three batsmen back to court with 20 runs. Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaj took one wicket each.

Shakib praised the team's bowlers for winning the first match of the T20 World Cup. Those bowlers also dipped in the second match. South African captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and decided to bat first. He, however, failed as usual. To open, he played 6 balls and scored 2 runs. After he returned to the dressing room, Quinton de Kock and Russo started the aggressive batting. With that, South Africa rose to the mountain of runs.

Rousseau made an excellent hundred. He played the entire innings maintaining a strike rate of about 200. Russo scored 109 runs off 56 balls before being dismissed by Shakib. Seven fours and eight sixes came from his bat. He completed his century with 52 balls. None of the Bangladeshi bowlers could stop his aggression. Shakib played very fluently. Aggressive 63 runs came from D'Kock's bat. His 38-ball innings has seven boundaries and three over boundaries.

South Africa's innings ended a little short of expectations after losing back-to-back wickets towards the end. Otherwise, Bavumara could have scored 220-25 runs. Tristan Stubbs (7), Aiden Markram (10) did not get a run. David Miller (2) and Wayne Parnell (nil) remained unbeaten in the end.
