In the last 24 hours, 131 more dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country. During this period, no one died of dengue. Meanwhile, the number of dengue patients admitted to different hospitals in the country has increased to 586.

This information has been informed in the regular dengue report of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Saturday (August 27) about the situation across the country. Earlier yesterday (Thursday) 68 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital.

According to the report, 109 of those newly admitted to the hospital due to dengue are residents of Dhaka. At this time, 22 people were newly admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka due to dengue.

At present, out of total 586 people admitted in different government and private hospitals of the country, 485 people are admitted in different government and private hospitals of Dhaka. And 101 people are outside Dhaka.

A total of 5,316 patients have been admitted to the hospital with dengue from January 1 this year to today (August 27). Among them, 4 thousand 399 patients were admitted in Dhaka and 917 patients were admitted in different districts outside Dhaka. 4 thousand 711 people have recovered and left the hospital so far. Among them, the total number of discharged patients in Dhaka is 3 thousand 905 and the total number of discharged patients outside Dhaka is 806. So far this year, 19 people have died due to dengue.
