The wait is 36 years! Argentina won the World Cup in 1986 under the guidance of football wizard named Diego Maradona. After that, a star like Lionel Messi could not bring Argentina the dream title. Messi's army is going to Qatar to make up for 36 years of regret.

European countries are busy in the League of Nations.

In the preparation of the World Cup, Argentina cannot play friendly matches against opponents like Germany, France, Spain or Portugal. Despite being behind in strength, the Latins have to play with teams outside of Europe. That is why the two-time world champion Argentina has agreed to play with Jamaica, which is ranked 62nd in the Red Bull Arena. The match will start at 6 am Bangladesh time on Wednesday.

Lionel Scaloni's side are given a chance to experiment before announcing their World Cup squad. A 3-0 win against Honduras will undoubtedly bring changes to the playing XI. Brazil and Spain have the record of being unbeaten in 35 consecutive matches. However, the record of unbeaten streak is held by Italy. Italy was unbeaten in 37 consecutive matches in 2018-2021. If they avoid defeat against Jamaica on Wednesday morning, Argentina will make the feat of being unbeaten in 35 consecutive matches, touching Brazil and Spain. Only Italy is ahead.
