Earlier, on July 31 midnight, the central office of the Chhatra League announced a full committee of 376 members at the Chittagong University branch. After the announcement of the committee, the deposed leaders and activists vandalized about 30 rooms of four halls. On that day and night, the leaders and workers of Vijaya called for a siege by locking the main gate. The blockade continued till 11:30 on August 2. Due to this, 11 final exams of 9 departments were postponed at that time.

If anyone has any complaints, they can discuss with the central committee. can talk It is by no means desirable to call for a blockade without doing that.'
Branch BCL general secretary Iqbal Hossain said that the dispute over the committee is a matter for BCL. It is not desirable for common students to suffer with this. The issue of increasing the committee is in the hands of the central committee.
Later, Vice President of BCL Central Committee Sohan Khan told that the Central BCL President and Secretary did not investigate when the committee was appointed. The committee did not accept seniority. Due to this, such problems have occurred in Chittagong University. However, what the leaders and workers are doing by stopping the campus is unfair. The matter should be addressed quickly.
