Ronaldo resorted to 'controversial' psychiatrist to overcome depression

Cristiano Ronaldo's career has rarely seen such a difficult time in his career. Manchester United has become a bit of a brat, with national team Portugal missing a glimpse of the 'CR Seven'. Criticism is pouring in from all around. The question is, is Ronaldo finished?

Despite being a football superstar, at the end of the day, Ronaldo is just a normal person. However, this Portuguese star, who has reached the peak of success, is not one to give up so easily. To get out of the difficult time, he resorted to a professional psychologist. The psychologist, Jordan Peterson, is also an internet celebrity.

Peterson is also a psychologist, author, media personality and professor emeritus at the University of Toronto. However, there is a lot of controversy about him as a propagator of right-wing ideology. Although Ronaldo did not care about those controversies, he met Pietersen to vent his frustration.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner first became interested in Pietersen after reading his book. After benefiting from reading the book, Ronaldo invited the psychologist to his home.

Two weeks ago, Ronaldo also posted a picture of himself with him on Instagram. Despite not writing anything in detail about their meeting, Ronaldo captioned the picture, 'Nice to meet you.'

Recently, Peterson revealed the 'mystery' surrounding his meeting with Ronaldo on England's television personality Piers Morgan's show. In that show, he said that Ronaldo had received therapy from him and that he felt that Ronaldo had improved after this meeting.

Peterson also said about this meeting, 'He invited me to meet him. A few months ago he was going through some problems in his life, when a friend of his sent him some of my videos. He said that he has seen those videos and also read one of my books. These benefited him. He then wished to speak to me.'

Telling what happened between them, Peterson said, 'Then I went to his house and talked to him for about two hours. He shows me everything he has to stay fit. Most of our conversations have been about what she wants in the future and the challenges she is facing.'

This talk of Pietersen tells that Ronaldo is not having a good time on and off the field. On the one hand, looking for losing yourself in the performance of the field. On the other hand, a few months ago, he was burned by the pain of losing his child.

A few days ago, he was also accused of breaking a fan's phone. It can be assumed that the Portuguese star is now taking the help of a professional psychologist to overcome the frustration created by these events before the World Cup.
