Biman's record revenue of Tk 1563 crore in three months

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has made a record income in the last three months. It is known that Biman has transported about 8 lakh 80 thousand passengers in the last three months. Breaking all the records of the past, the income was 1 thousand 563 crores. If this trend is maintained, Biman will transport 32 million passengers in a year.

Biman's managing director and CEO Zahid Hossain gave this information in a press conference at Biman's head office at Uttara in the capital on Thursday. He said ground handling services have also improved as expected. Now it is possible to deliver all luggage to passengers within 45 minutes.

Biman's CEO also said that expected progress has been made in revenue collection, passenger handling and passenger service in the last three months.

The way passengers are increasing, the target of at least 32 lakh can be met in the next one year. Similarly, the revenue will also increase.

Regarding passenger service, he said, ensuring quality passenger service is the biggest challenge of Biman. For this, the ground handling time of the aircraft has been further reduced.

Now the first baggage of a flight is given within 18 minutes and the last baggage is given within 45 minutes maximum. This achievement has been possible due to extensive monitoring, supervision and changes in management.
