Dhakai cinema's once popular actor Riyaz completed half a century and turned 51 today on Wednesday. Colleagues and well-wishers are congratulating him. Long-time fellow actress Shabnoor also congratulated Riaz in a Facebook post from Australia.

Shabnoor wrote, 'Do you remember, when you first appeared in the film, I named you Ranga Mulo. Because you were so cute. You will always be such a color to me. I have done many romantic pictures together. We have so many memories.'

Sharing a memory of the time of shooting for the song 'Manna Na Dile Hai Ki Prem Tai' in Cox's Bazar, Shabanur wrote, "During the shoot, there was a poisonous snake near my feet, which I didn't notice and you didn't tell me, because I was very afraid of snakes." . You completed the shot by pressing the snake with your foot and the whole incident was unknown to me. After giving the shot I gave a run as soon as I knew it.'

In 1997, Riyaz-Shabnoor teamed up for the first time in the movie 'Tumi Tort Tumi' produced by director Abid Hasan Badal. They have teamed up in 43 films including 'Prithibi Tomar Amar', 'Beer Phool' in a career of several decades.

Riyaz acted in the recently released movie 'Operation Sundarban'. His two films 'Mujib: Shaper of a Nation' and 'Radio' are awaiting release.

On the other hand, Shabnoor has been out of films for several years. He settled in Australia with his only son.
