South Africa beat India on Rousseau's century

Riley Russo scored a century in the third T20 against India. Besides, South Africa got a big collection due to Quinton de Kock's great innings. After losing the toss and batting, they set a target of 228 runs. In response, India stopped batting at 178 runs.

"As a result, South Africa won the match by 49 runs."

Batting first, Protea captain Temba Bavuma (3) lost his wicket early on. After that, Quinton de Kock formed a great partnership with Riley Russo who came down to bat. De Kock was run out with a pair of 89 runs from 47 balls.

Before that, he played an innings of 48 runs in 43 overs. Then Russo was accompanied by Tristan Stubbs.   

Russo, who was batting well at one end, took the first T20 century of his career in the jersey of the national team. He remained unbeaten with 8 sixes and 7 fours in 48 balls.

In the end David Miller's 5-ball cameo of 19 runs got a huge collection for the visitors. Earlier, Stubbs lost his wicket after scoring 23 runs off 18 balls.   

In response, Indian captain Rohit Sharma lost his wicket on the second ball of batting. Shreyas Iyer also could not settle on the wicket. He departed after scoring 1 run.

After that, Rishabh Pant continued to fight with Dinesh Karthik for a while. But he had to return to Lungi Ngidi after scoring 27 runs. Karthik also departed after scoring 46 runs off 21 balls.   

After that, only Deepak Chahar could not play a significant innings. He played an innings of 31 runs off 17 balls. In the end, however, Umesh Yadav remained unbeaten after playing an innings of 20 runs from 17 balls. However, India had to stop at 178 runs due to the great bowling of Dwayne Protorius.  

Pretorius took the maximum 3 wickets for South Africa. Ngidi and Parnell got a pair of wickets. Kagiso Rabada took a wicket.
