State Minister for Electricity, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid wrote these words on his verified Facebook page at 10:53 PM on Tuesday (October 4).

He wrote, 'Dear customers - It has been possible to restore the grid in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and Mymensingh regions by 9 pm. A few places are still without power or for a short period of time - customers in those areas should be patient.

Increasing the load gradually. The main crisis is over. Soon you will get electricity. '

It should be noted that after the unexpected power outage at 02:04 in the afternoon, at 2:36, Ashuganj-Sirajganj 230 KV transmission line was gradually started to supply electricity to some areas of Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Cumilla, Mymensingh.

System generation was increased to 8,431 MW at 9:00 PM and work is underway to increase it cautiously to restore power supply. '

"Already, the system is being gradually normalized by starting large power generation centers in the eastern region, such as Ghorashal, Ashuganj, Meghnaghat, Haripur and Siddhirganj power plants. 1750 MW electricity is being supplied at 9:40 PM against 2300 MW in Dhaka. '
