South Africa's defeat increased Bangladesh's chances of semi final's

South Africa lost by (33 runs)against Pakistan in the rain-hit Super Twelve World T20 match. This defeat of the Proteas has made the semi-final competition of group two. Although Netherlands' exit from the tournament is confirmed, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe have increased chances of going to the last four.

Each team in Group 2 now has one match left. That is, if India wins the next match against Zimbabwe, they will go to the semi-finals as group champions with 8 points. If South Africa wins against the Netherlands, they will also get a ticket to the semis with 7 points. But if India and South Africa lose their respective matches, the semi-final opportunity will be created in front of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
