Many predicted 'Avatar 2' storm at the box office even before its release. Many box office-analysts have even commented that the former may even surpass the latter. Whether that happens or not, only time will tell. As of now, James Cameron's film has crossed $1 billion worldwide in just 12 days after its release. 'Avatar 2' earned 1 billion dollars as the third film of this year.

The story of this installment starts with Jake Sully. Appears on the planet Pandora in the avatar's body. The planet is inhabited by the Na'vi aborigines. Aquatic is the planet's most valuable resource, Unobtainium, which is needed to save Earth. But why should the inhabitants of the planet miss it! A conflict with the people of Pandora begins. 

Sam Worthington reprises his role as Jake Solly. Apart from this, Joey Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang from the previous installment are also present. Newly joined is Cliff Curtis, who will be seen in the role of Tanwari, the leader of the Mitkaniya tribe. There is Cameron's beloved wife Kate Winslet, who will be seen as Ronal.
