HSC result will be published on February 8

The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on February 8. Convener of Inter Education Board Coordinating Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Education Board Tapan Kumar Sarkar told Prothom Alo this information on Sunday morning.

Earlier, the education boards had sent a proposal to the government to release the results on February 7, 8 or 9 — any day. Then Dhaka Education Board Chairman Tapan Kumar Sarkar said that there is a rule to publish the results within 60 days of the end of the examination. As such, there is time till February 11. Considering this time, proposals have been sent to publish the results on February 7, 8 or 9 — any day. The result will be published on the day Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gives her consent.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurates the program of SSC and HSC exam results.

As the Corona situation is very normal, the HSC and equivalent examinations started in a very normal environment on November 6 across the country. The total number of examinees under 11 education boards including 9 General Education Boards, Madrasas and Technical Boards was a little over 1.2 lakhs.
