Neymar's double goal
Before the World Cup, Neymar made a great start of the league for PSG, lighting the hope in the minds of Brazilians. Scored a goal in PSG's 5–0 win over Clermont in their first match in French Ligue 'A', assisting his teammates on three goals.

Lionel Messi, who scored two goals against Clermont, could not shine that day. The Argentinian star did not score or assist in the goal. However, PSG could have gone ahead in the 23rd minute of the match. But Mbappe could not score from the penalty. PSG had to wait until 39 minutes to get the first goal. It was also a suicide goal.
At the end of the first half, PSG got a penalty again. This time, Mbappe did not take the penalty, Neymar easily netted the ball from the spot kick. The Brazilian forward scored his second goal in the 51st minute. Mbappe got on the scoresheet 11 minutes after Mpele pulled a goal back in the 58th minute. Renato Sanchez scored in the 87th minute to make the scoreline 5-1. A goal back in added time to reduce the deficit.

At the end of the match, however, PSG's new coach Christophe Gaultier had to talk about Mbappe, not Neymar. Can the French striker shine as much as last season.
