Corona infections in the country have increased by 47 percent in a week

The World Health Organization says that corona infection is increasing in Bangladesh. According to the agency's statistics, infections have increased by 47 percent in a week. The government officials of the health department say that it is not possible to say exactly why the corona infection is increasing again.

Meanwhile, the statistics of the Department of Health also say that there is a slight increase in the number of corona infections in the country. 3 thousand 340 samples were tested across the country from 8 am on Thursday to 8 am on Friday. Among them, 363 people have been diagnosed with corona virus. Considering the sample test, the detection rate is 10.87. This means that out of 100 suspected persons, more than 10 are infected with corona. Apart from this, two people have died due to Corona.

The World Health Organization has said that the global infection of corona is decreasing. According to the agency's latest weekly epidemiological analysis, infections worldwide fell by 28 percent in the last week compared to the previous week. However, it has not decreased in all countries or regions of the world. Infections have increased in some countries or regions. According to the government, it was seen that the infection is increasing in Bangladesh for the last one and a half to two weeks. According to the World Health Organization, the infection in Bangladesh has increased by 47 percent in a week. Neighboring Myanmar saw a 117 percent increase over the same period.

A section of public health experts say that the corona infection will not end completely. However, it is expected that the intensity of corona symptoms will decrease. They think that Corona will become more like seasonal fever or influenza. 

So far, 20 lakh 16 thousand 946 people have been diagnosed with corona in the country. 19 lakh 60 thousand 47 people have recovered from Corona. 29 thousand 339 people died of Corona.

The first corona was detected in the country on March 8, 2020. Since then, there have been several fluctuations in the number of corona infections in the country. From the end of last year to the middle of last February, the micron type of corona has spread. On September 13, the detection rate was 10.55.
