Sujon is not satisfied with Riyad
This time too, before the World Cup, a new drama has started about who is in the team and who is not. It is known that the name of Mahmudullah Riyad can be cut from the notebook of BCB.
In the midst of that rumor, Bangladesh cricket team team director Khaled Mahmud Sujon also said that they could not be satisfied with Riyadh's performance in the Asia Cup.
Sujon told the media in Mirpur today, 'Too early to answer! Since (Mahmudullah) Riyad is still in the camp... Riyad is still an important part of us in white-ball cricket. I haven't thought about it yet, I have thoughts on my mind. But still not decided. It will be decided while making the team whether Riyad will be there or not or whether Riyad is needed in our team or not. But let me say this - Riyad is still important to us. It is better not to discuss why Riyadh will get a chance or why it will not get a chance.
Sujon also said that the cricketers will be taken into consideration in the team. He said, 'At the end of the day, we will do what is necessary for the Bangladesh team. Since Riyad still plays this format, he is still like ten other players. He has experience, but we don't discriminate based on who has experience and who doesn't. As important as Riyad is to us, so is Rabbi. All are national team players.'
The team director also said that Riyad's expectations were not fulfilled, 'No one will stay all his life, it is very normal. But we always want to evaluate their service. There is no way to deny the contribution of Panchapandava. Riyad still has interest and effort to play. But I did not get what I expected from Riyad. There are small runs, not at all. There are 27 off 27 balls, some runs off 22 balls.'
