Conflict over keeping the boat at the wharf, the youth was killed by stabbing

Due to the argument about boat tying at the ghat, Patia. A young man named Fahim (22) was stabbed to death. The incident took place in Lakher Tech area of Kolagaon Union of the upazila on Sunday morning. The deceased is the son of Nazrul Islam of Kashiaish Union of Fahim Upazila.

Kolagaon Union Jubo League joint secretary Nazrul Islam Khokon said that the deceased Fahim's house is in Kashiyaish of the upazila. He is a Hafez of Quran. She moved to her sister's house in Lakhera two and a half months ago after being scolded by her father for doing Tik Tok. There his brother-in-law Nezam Uddin was looking after Ripon's sand and cement business. There is a canal behind the shop. There was an argument last Saturday with Khatak Rana about tying the boat to a bamboo. The matter was settled that day. Then, in an incident on Sunday morning, the killer stabbed Rana Fahim next to his sister-in-law's shop. At one stage he was rescued by the locals and taken to Chittagong Medical College (CHMEC) Hospital where he died in the afternoon.

He also said that after the incident, when the killer Rana's father Mannan started beating him in the area, he was rescued and removed safely to the Union Parishad.

Meanwhile, after the incident, a team of police from Patia police station and Kolagaon police outpost arrested the killer Rana from Charpatharghata area of Karnaphuli. Ward No. 9 of Rana Kolagaon Union. Son of Abdul Mannan.

OC of Patia Police Station. Rezaul Karim Mazumder said, Saturday there was a discussion between them about keeping the boat at the ghat. Later the incident was resolved between the two. But on Sunday morning, this murder happened due to the same incident. In this incident, the victim's father filed a murder case at the police station.
