Ericsson renews global framework agreement with Telenor As a result of the contract renewal, Grameenphone will use Ericsson's cognitive software-services till 2024. Under the agreement, Telenor's organizations in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore will be able to use Ericsson's cognitive software-services. In 2017, Ericsson signed a global framework agreement with Telenor. The agreement was signed to create a Common Delivery Center (CDC) for multiple services such as network operations (advanced network operations center automation), network design, planning and optimization, first level operations and intelligent field operations and project management and network implementation.

Ericsson Operations Engine (artificial intelligence or AI-based data processing for network managed services) has enabled Telenor to ensure next-generation connectivity and provide customers with secure and reliable network access.

In this regard, Pradeep Kotnala, Head of Network Operations and Managed Services, South East Asia, Oceania and India, Ericsson said, Ericsson's cognitive software solutions can integrate the network design and optimization domain with advanced AI technology in an innovative way.
