Left Alliance and Bangladesh Jasad will conduct simultaneous movement

The Left Democratic Alliance and Bangladesh Jasad have decided to hold a joint movement against the demands of election under non-partisan supervision government, reform of electoral system and against misrule-oppression and lack of democracy. This decision was taken in a joint meeting of Left Alliance and Bangladesh Jasd at Mukti Bhaban in Paltan today.

Apart from expressing concern over the current political situation in the country, the meeting also condemned the rise in commodity prices, power crisis and attacks on meetings and gatherings of opposition parties. The leaders said that this disaster in the power sector is due to wrong policies and corruption of the government. This is the government's responsibility.

The meeting was attended by the president of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB). Shah Alam, General Secretary of Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal (BASD) Bajlur Rashid Firoz, President of Bangladesh Jasdar Sharif Nurul Ambia, General Secretary Nazmul Haque Pradhan, Acting General Secretary of Democratic Revolutionary Party Shahidul Islam Sabuj, Acting General Secretary of CPB Mihir Ghosh, Central Committee Member of CPB Mujahidul Islam Salim and others.
