Hanif Sanket has gained nationwide recognition by spreading fascination with the magic of words. Presenter, director, actor, producer, writer, he is a man of many qualities. His popularity still prevails. Nandit man's birthday was yesterday Sunday. Hanif Sanket was born on this day in 1958 in Barisal. He rose to fame with the late Fazle Lohani's magazine show 'If You Don't Mind'. He then appeared on the most popular magazine show in the country's history, 'Etitiadi'.

He is still reigning as the host of the magazine show 'Etatadi' even in the reign of the satellite channel. In the programs he directs and presents etc. he highlights social anomalies, anti-corruption activities. Somewhat romantically, he described contemporary scandals and suggested social action against them. Hanif Sanket is a very conscious man about his work. Hanif also showed signs of directing dramas, Munsiana of production. Among the popular dramas directed by him are 'Ai Pheri Tor Praner Baranday', 'Durghatna', 'Toshamode Khosh Amode', 'Kingkartavya', 'Kusum Kusum Bhalosha', 'Seshe Ese Vishali'.

Hanif Sanket also acted in the film. He wrote several satirical and romantic works. 'Chauchapate', 'Epith Opith', 'Dhanyabad', 'Akanda Kanda', 'Khabre Prakash', 'Pure like a flower...', 'Preeti O Iti', 'Atkhanar Patkhana' are among them. Besides, his written romantic literature is very popular in the reading community. Hanif Sanket was awarded the Ekushey Padak Award on 21 February 2010 for social activities. He was awarded the 2014 National Environment Medal for environmental education and promotion. Apart from this, he has been awarded many awards at home and abroad.
