Victoria Roney of Rangunia will play for England in skating

Victoria Roney, a British teenager of Bangladeshi origin, is going to participate in the Euro Championship roller skating competition for England. She is the daughter of Mohammad Roni, the elder son of Rangunia Upazila Awami League leader Mafjal Ahmed Contractor. He will participate in the upcoming Euro Championship Roller Skating Competition under 15 to be held in Italy.

In this regard, Victoria Roni said, I am very happy that I am going to participate in roller skating in Italy. My parents' encouragement has motivated me to come this far. I hope to get good results and bring fame to England and Bangladesh.

On the success of her daughter, Mohammad Roni said, my daughter is going to represent Bangladesh as a Bengali as well as England at the world court. Which is also a matter of pride for Bangladeshis. Wishing everyone prayers for him to get a good place in the competition and shine the name of Bangladesh.

Rangunia Upazila Chairman Swajan Kumar Talukdar said, a Bengali girl is going to play roller skating in the European Championship, it is a pride for Bangladesh and Rangunia. I wish him success.
