BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir thinks that not only the people of the country but also the people of the whole world are looking towards the Dhaka divisional mass meeting on December 10. "Our backs are against the wall," he said. I stood on the edge of the ditch. We have to make this rally a success at any cost.'

He said these things in a preparatory meeting at the BNP Chairperson's political office in Gulshan on Monday afternoon. BNP held this meeting with Bangladesh Sammilit Peshajeevi Parishad (BSPP) with the aim of making Dhaka divisional mass meeting of BNP successful on 10th December.

Stating that the leaders of the party are working tirelessly to make this rally a success, Mirza Fakhrul complained that the obstacles and arrests have started again. But ignoring it, they (party leaders-workers) are doing the work. Professionals and intellectuals have come forward in every critical moment of the country. He hopes that they will come forward again.

Secretary General of BNP said, 'This unelected government has destroyed the political structure on the one hand, on the other hand it has destroyed our economic structure. It has completely created a reign of loot in the country. It is their character. Whenever they come to power they do two things. One is looting and the other is intimidation. Rule by fear.'

Mentioning that Awami League can never move forward with the people, Mirza Fakhrul said, they (Awami League) try to get votes by misleading people, deceiving them and tricking them. Then the real face comes out when it comes to power. Now their full true form has come out.

Mirza Fakhrul said that the entire Bangladesh has woken up and said, 'Our program included mass gatherings in 10 sections. 9 we have succeeded. The people of this country have succeeded. Ignoring hundreds of obstacles, crossing the river by swimming, rafting, cycling and walking, they spent days and nights at the gathering place. For him no one had so much fatigue in his eyes. There were no complaints. Those who come to the mass meeting do not have that much demand for receiving. Their only request is that we want freedom from them (the powers that be).'

Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman gave a directive speech by connecting virtually in the meeting held at the office of the Chairperson of BNP in Gulshan. BNP Standing Committee Member Mirza Abbas, Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Noman, Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP Convener Abdus Salam, Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Convener Amanullah Aman and others also spoke.
