It is known that he gave Ashtami Anjali in a red saree at Shobhabazar Rajbari in Kolkata on Monday. On the morning of Ashtami, Apu offered floral tributes at the Rajbari Puja in Kolkata's traditional Shobhabazar. He also participated in the worship. Along with the puja, Dhaliwood daughter visited the Rajbari interior. He also chatted with the members of the Rajbari in a happy mood throughout the day.

Meanwhile, Devaraj Mitra, the current head of Rajbari and his family members gave a warm welcome to Apu.

Showing the image of two Bengals in worship, Apu Biswas said, 'Bangladesh worship is mostly confined to the mandap. But in Calcutta Puja, the whole city is filled with festive joy. The joy of worship spread throughout the city. I rushed to Kolkata to enjoy that joy. Come to Calcutta just to enjoy the puja.'

It may be noted that Dhallywood queen Apu Biswas is making her name as a producer for the first time with the government-funded movie 'Lal Saree'. The film is directed by Bandhan Biswas on the story of Tanveer Ahmed Sidney. Shahiduzzaman Salim, Simon Sadiq, Doyel, Soma and many others will play different roles in this movie.
