After two consecutive explosions in the garage of a multi-storied building in the Rahmatganj area of ​​Kotwoali police station of Chittagong city, panic spread in the area after seeing a coil of smoke.

When the local residents informed the fire service, two units from Chandanpura came and sprinkled water on the garage. As the smoke stopped, the area felt relieved.

The incident took place on the ground floor of the Sky Genuine building on the east side of Shishu Bagh School on Wednesday (November 9) around 6 pm.

Eyewitness Anil Kumar said that there were two explosions around 6 pm. Then the smoke comes out. We panicked and informed the fire service. Workers from the fire service came and sprinkled water on seeing the smoke. As the smoke stopped, people were relieved.

The operator of the control room of the fire service said that the cylinder of a car parked in the car garage of the multi-storied building exploded. Only the vehicle concerned was damaged. The fire service personnel managed to bring the situation under control.
