Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina called upon the youth to prepare themselves for any work to improve the country. She said, to stand on your own feet by doing any work, earning your own money… it is a matter of great pride. Because we do not underestimate any work. We will not underestimate any task. The Prime Minister's call came in his speech at the inauguration of 'National Youth Day' and the distribution of 'National Youth Award' on Tuesday. He joined the program through video conference from Gana Bhavan.

Sheikh Hasina said, we are developing 100 economic zones in the whole of Bangladesh for the employment of our youth. If proper training can be done, this economic zone, the investment that will be made here, the investment is being made, the more investment will be made, the employment will be provided to the sons and daughters of our country. Recalling with pride the cooperation of the students to cut the paddy of the farmers during the coronavirus epidemic, the head of government said that this is how the youth society will prepare themselves for any work. Which will take measures to improve our country.

Sheikh Hasina also thanked them for the way the youth society stood by the people and supported them in various ways during the epidemic. She said that youth can play an important role in solving any crisis. The world is moving forward. New developments in technology. New discoveries of science. We have to keep pace with him. And that work will be done by our youth society. Students, young people… they will. In this event, the Prime Minister also spoke about the economic recession of the world due to the impact of the epidemic, the state of distress of the developed countries as a result of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Talking about the fear of food shortage in the future, Sheikh Hasina said, "If we want to keep Bangladesh free from this, we have to cultivate every inch of land, besides producing and processing food products... we have to take measures in the country for that." Addressing the youth society, the head of government said that they should take more initiatives. He can also do regional work in each area. The prime minister said that Bangladesh can cooperate with other countries by meeting the needs of the country through the production and processing of food products. He said, the soil of Bangladesh is very fertile; The country's manpower should be utilized properly to get its benefits.

The prime minister also said that keeping in mind the fourth industrial revolution, various institutions are being created to develop the youth as suitable, well-trained and skilled manpower. She said, our youth are so talented, they can show excellence in everything. This is the big thing.

Calling for building the country in the spirit of the liberation war, Sheikh Hasina said, as a victorious nation, we must always carry our heads high. We will develop and enrich our country with our own strength, talent and resources. We must always have this thought in our youth that we are a winning nation. As a victorious nation, we will position ourselves in the world as a winner. If you can continue with that spirit, surely no one can hold you back in Bangladesh.

Highlighting the lifelong struggle of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in establishing the rights of the exploited and deprived people, the Prime Minister also highlighted the various steps taken by the Father of the Nation for the development of the country. He also talked about the various initiatives taken by the Awami League government for the welfare of the youth. He said, I hope our youths will devote themselves more to building the nation, inspired by the motto of patriotism and the philosophy of the father of the nation.
