Elon Musk is bringing an iPhone-Android alternative
![]() |
Technology entrepreneur Elon Musk is bringing a smartphone
to compete with the American technology giant Apple's iPhone or Google's
Android. Recently in a tweet, Elon announced the news of bringing the
phone to the market. He said, if necessary, he will create alternatives
for iPhone and Android. Now Android and iPhone users have to download
Twitter app from Play Store and App Store. But if Twitter is banned from
these two platforms, Elon Musk has said that he will make an alternative phone
himself.
At the moment, Google's Android and Apple's iOS operating
systems occupy a large part of the world's smartphone market. For almost a
decade and a half, these operating systems have been updated one after
another. But developers have to pay around 30 percent commission to Apple
and Google if they sell apps from App Store and Play Store. Elon called
this additional fee as the hidden tax of the Internet.
Apple and Google are deducting from Elon Musk a portion of the money charged to customers for Twitter subscriptions. What the world's richest people cannot accept. For this reason, Elon wants to face tough competition from these tech giants by launching a new operating system phone. There is no word on what specifications Elon Musk's phone will have.
