World Cup winner McAllister's 'dream come true' by joining Liverpool

 Liverpool fans have been clamoring for an effective midfielder throughout the last season. The lack of midfielders was thought to be the main reason behind the decline of the Merseyside club. So maybe at the beginning of the team change, Liverpool was the first to add a midfielder to the team. Liverpool have signed World Cup-winning Argentine midfielder Alexis McAllister from Brighton.

Liverpool spent 55 million euros to buy the Argentine midfielder. McAllister has signed a five-year deal with Liverpool until 2028. Liverpool announced the decision to sign McAllister on their website this afternoon.

Rumors of McAllister's move to Liverpool surfaced at the end of the season . At the time, however, it was rumored that Mac Alistair would not come to the club at Anfield if Liverpool did not get a chance in the Champions League. However, nothing happened.The 24- year-old midfielder has finally chosen Liverpool as his next destination. McAllister will play in the number 10 jersey at Liverpool.

McAllister's three-and-a-half-year relationship with Brighton also came to an end by officially signing for Liverpool. In January 2019, he joined the English club from Argentinos Juniors. After that, however, he also played on loan at Argentinos Juniors and Boca Juniors for two periods.

He made his league debut in March 2020. But McAllister made his mark playing under former Brighton coach Graham Potter. Considering the quality of the game, many compare him with Luka Modric. McAllister played 112 matches for Brighton and scored 20 goals.
