5.6 earthquake in Myanmar

An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 struck Myanmar today on Friday morning. The news agency Reuters confirmed this information about the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

 The earthquake struck about 112 km north and northwest of Moniwa, Myanmar. Its depth at the point of origin was 144 km.

The source of the earthquake is not yet known. The report did not say whether there was any damage due to the earthquake.
