Again volatile egg market, currently 50

Several shops and markets in Badda, New Bazar, Bhatara of the capital have been visited, retail eggs are being sold at Tk 48-52, and dozen at Tk 145-150.
Traders say that prices have increased again due to supply shortage due to continuous rains. Others say that egg prices have been affected by rising prices of chicken feed ingredients, fuel prices and the rising dollar. Due to these reasons, when the price of eggs increased last month, the price was reduced due to pressure from the administration. But the problem is increasing again as it is not solved.
Taher Ahmed Siddiqui, President of the Egg Producers' Association, told the media that even if we produce eggs, we cannot fix the price. We are not getting a single Taka extra. Aartdar and big companies are doing syndication. They produce 5 lakh eggs a day.
If you can increase the price by 2 Taka, you will earn 10 lakhs a day. He alleged that they have increased the price.
A representative of Tejgaon Bhumukhi Cooperative Samity, an organization of Dhaka egg traders, said on condition of anonymity that every morning the representatives of the corporate institutions set the prices. Taking that price into account, the price is determined in the wholesale market. The same people who destabilized egg prices last month are doing it now.
At that time we informed the names of those companies to various quarters of the government. But no action has been taken yet.
