It was recently announced at Disney's D23 Expo that the fifth installment of the series will be released on June 30, 2023. Some footage of the film was also screened at the expo for the invited audience. Harrison Ford was also present at the Expo. When footage of 'Indiana Jones 5' was shown on the screen, the audience gave the actor a standing ovation, clapping for several minutes. The star became emotional after seeing the excitement of the fans. He said to the fans, 'Thank you for loving Indiana Jones so much. We make pictures for you.'

Regarding the last time he acted in 'Indiana Jones', he said, 'I will not burn you again as Indiana Jones.' Directed by James Mangold, 'Indiana Jones 5' stars Mass Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas and others. 



The first installment of the series was produced by Steven Spielberg in 1981, based on a story by George Lucas and Philip Kaufman. Then three more films were released in 1984, 1989 and 2008. Indiana Jones 5 has Spielberg as co-producer.
