Newly released 'Brahmastra' on the brink of 100 crores

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra' broke all box office records immediately after its release. Brahmastra has occupied the box office on the second day as well, maintaining the consistency of the highest income on the first day. The movie grossed Rs 42 crore in India on its second day. It holds the highest grossing non-holiday release for a Bollywood film.

According to Bollywood sources, the film's earnings have increased by 15% in almost all theaters on Saturday and going by Sunday's progress, the film's earnings are expected to increase significantly. The movie is expected to cross the 100 crore mark in India today. Film experts believe that this is going to be the highest grossing movie of Bollywood in the post-epidemic situation. The movie has already crossed 100 crore worldwide.

The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer earned Rs 42 crore on its second day. The movie collected Rs 37 crore in Hindi and Rs 5 crore in regional languages. 78 crores in two days in India and the movie is sure to break the Hindi language holiday record on Sunday.

Along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and many others are playing important roles in the movie.
