Raid on Tamakundi Lane, stole 28 mobiles and arrested 2

The police recovered 28 stolen mobiles after raiding a mobile shop on Station Road under Kotwali Police Station in Chittagong city and Tamakundi Lane in Rayazuddin Bazar.

Meanwhile, two people were arrested for stealing mobile phones. They were arrested along with these stolen mobile phones on Sunday (September 11) at quarter past 11. The two arrested are Abdur Rahim (24) and Mizanur Rahman Ripon (34).

According to the police, a man is waiting to buy and sell stolen mobiles in the parking area of ​​Basa No. 7 on Station Road. In such news, the SI of the police station said. The operation was conducted under the leadership of Mehdi Hasan.

SI Mehdi said that they were able to arrest Abdur Rahim, a member of the thief gang, in the operation. 5 stolen mobiles of different brands were recovered from his custody.

After the arrest, Rahim said in the initial interrogation that a person named Mizanur Rahman Ripon bought the mobiles at a low price from various mobile thieves.

Based on the information given by him, a raid was conducted on the same day and night at the shop called Rubaiya Traders at Tamakumondi Lane Hasin Towers under Kotwali police station. At that time, we were able to arrest Mizanur Rahman Ripon along with 23 stolen mobiles.

OC Jahedul Kabir of Kotwali police station confirmed the information of the arrest and said that two cases against the arrested Rahim and Mizanur are pending in the court. A new case was filed at Kotwali Police Station yesterday. Case No-18.
