Gujarat Titans played for the first time in IPL. The
team led by Hardik Pandya won the title. One of the artisans behind which
is Shubman Gill. That Shubman is going to leave Gujarat Titans? Such
was the speculation surrounding a tweet.
Although informed by Gujarat, Shubman is not leaving the team.
On Saturday afternoon, Gujarat's Twitter account wrote,
'This trip will be very memorable. I wish you all the best for the
future. Shubman Gill commented on that tweet with a
smiley. Speculation started after that, then Gill is going to leave
Gujarat? He was given a farewell address on behalf of the party?
Amid the heated debate over that post, another tweet from
Gujarat claimed, 'Twitter world, Gill will always be part of our
team. Special Note: It is not what you think. But we enjoyed your
discussion. Let it continue. ' Many believe that this was done as a
publicity stunt.
