How to change name in Gmail

The name that appears with Gmail is just as important as the email address. Because when you send an e-mail to someone, the sender's name is the first thing that appears in the inbox. As a result, the recipient decides whether to open or skip the e-mail by looking at the name. As a result, it is often impossible to contact strangers because of the name of the person or organization. If you want, it is possible to solve this problem by changing the name in Gmail. To change the name in Gmail, you must use the web version of Gmail. Because, Gmail can't be renamed with Android or iOS app.

To change the name, open Gmail on the computer and sign in and click on the settings icon in the upper right corner. Now after selecting all settings click on account and import tab and select edit info in send mail section the new tab will be opened. Here various information can be changed including Gmail name. Now when the tab opens, enter a new name in the blank box of the name section and click on the Save Changes button, the name will be changed in Gmail.

The username that appears in Gmail and the username are two different things. Email address is associated with Gmail username. That is, @gmail.com is linked. This username is used as the primary e-mail address for all Google services and cannot be changed.
