Signal number 3, sometimes rain sometimes sunshine
The Meteorological Department has asked four sea ports including Pyara to display local warning signal No. 3 due to low pressure in North West Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas.
According to the weather forecast, there is a risk of gale
force winds in the coastal areas. Meanwhile, under the influence of low
pressure, Rangabali of Patuakhali received intermittent rains several times on
Tuesday. Light winds blew several times before and after the rain.
Soon after the rain, the sun rises. Cloudy with
sunshine again. In this way, for the last two days, sometimes it is sunny,
sometimes it is raining in this coastal area.
Fishermen said that many fishermen trawlers are staying
close to the coast as the sea has become rough due to low pressure. However,
a number of trawlers are still reported to be fishing in the sea.
Swapan Saha, a fishmonger from Kodalia area of Rangabali
upazila, said that the 22-day ban on fishing will start in just two
days. Just as the fishermen were catching fish, the low pressure caused
the sea to become rough. So now the fishermen have to return from the sea
before the ban begins.
