Tourist bus is starting in Chittagong

 The district administration and Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) are going to start tourist buses from next Saturday to facilitate the enjoyment of the beauty of Chittagong, which is rich in rivers, seas and mountains. This bus will ply daily at Patenga sea beach area which is only 14 km away from Tiger pass of Chittagong city.

Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman gave this information in a press conference at Chittagong Circuit House on Thursday afternoon.

Two double-decker buses will be officially launched from Saturday in collaboration with BRTC. A bus will be open-top.

DC said, this bus will travel from Tiger Pass to DC Park area of ​​Patenga Seashore and Faujdarhat thrice daily on weekends on Friday and Saturday. Other days will travel the same route twice in the afternoon.

To travel by tourist bus service, the fare will be Tk 40 from Tiger Pass to DC Park, Tk 30 from DC Park to Patenga Beach and Tk 70 from Tiger Pass to Patenga Beach. It was informed in the press conference that the number of buses will be increased and air-conditioned buses will be added in the future if the demand of travelers increases.

Bangladesh Road Transport and Highways Department Secretary ABM Amin Ullah Noori is expected to attend the opening ceremony. Apart from this, Chairman of BRTC. Tajul Islam, Commissioner of Chittagong Division. Aminur Rahman NDC, Commissioner of Police Krishna Pad Roy will be present.
